Tom Wrolstad first raced #14 "Super Chic" at Merced and Reno in 1974.
The #33 Lowers Special biplane raced at Reno in 1969. Both Richard Minges and Connie Marsh flew qualifying time trials in the aircraft. Richard Minges placed 2nd in the consolation race with #33 that year.
John Schmidt's #18 "Schmidt Pitts" placed 4th in the 1976 Reno consolation race.
Don Fairbanks built and raced this modified Knight Twister. Vern Payne, the Knight Twister designer, helped Don make changes to meet the requirements of the biplane racing class.
Wayne Roe brought his #47 Pitts named "Sulu" to the Reno National Air Races in 1971.
